The temperatures are falling, leaves are starting to change and Pumpkin Spice Lattes have officially arrived -- it’s the start of a new season in the Triangle and that means the Raleigh Fairgrounds Home Show returns for its fall edition September 17-19, 2021. With so much to do and see, what are the top five must-see features at the show:

  1. Ask the Experts. Most consumers consult the internet when embarking on a home project, but nothing compares to getting advice in real life, from real experts who work in your community and understand exactly what it takes to get things done. Throughout the show guests can ask the experts in home buying, remodeling, interior design, and more. Expert topics and teachers include HVAC Expert (Allen Mitchell, Mitchell Heating & Cooling), How to Cut Your Grocery Bills in Half (WRAL-TV’s Smart Shopper, Faye Prosser) and Ask a Designer with Rhonda Benvie. Presented by Mitchell Heating & Cooling.
  2. Backyard Getaway. Get ideas to upgrade outdoor living space with living showrooms created by local experts in the expansive Backyard Getaway feature. Explore water features, pavers, landscaping, outdoor furniture and more. Outdoor Living Space
  3. DIY for Small Fries. The Home Depot will be giving away DIY kits in their booth for pint-sized aspiring DIY enthusiasts. Projects include all materials needed to create along with directions to do the project at home!
  4. Bouquet All Day.  It’s proven that being around fresh flowers boosts mood, and with the skills guests can learn from the Southern Chapter of the American Institute of Floral Designers fresh flowers can be part of their daily home life.  In addition to live demos, guests can check out high-style, artistic fresh floral displays in their exhibition space.
